Privacy Policy for Nova Suite
# Privacy Policy for Nova Suite
**Effective Date:** June 29, 2026
Nova Suite ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Nova Suite Chrome Extension (the "Extension").
Nova Suite is a local developer toolset designed for developers, offering 32 advanced utilities split into **AI & LLM Tools** and **Core Tools**.
---
## 1. Local Processing & Model Pricing Synchronization
Nova Suite is designed to process your inputs **locally and client-side**.
All data processing, transformations, code generation, schema validations, cryptographic hashing, and mock data generation occur entirely within your local browser sandbox. **No code inputs, JSON schemas, SQL queries, system prompts, or API payloads you write ever leave your device.**
To support the **Model Matrix** pricing catalog tool, the Extension retrieves the latest public model listings and current pricing rates by making a single, secure API fetch request to the public endpoint `https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/models`. This request contains **no user identifiers, developer API keys, credentials, or prompt payloads**.
We do not operate any external tracking infrastructure, databases, or analytics services. Except for downloading the public model registry, the Extension runs entirely offline.
---
## 2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because the Extension executes entirely client-side, we **do not collect, store, share, or transmit** any of the following:
* **Personal Data:** Names, email addresses, usernames, IP addresses, or contact information.
* **Input Payloads:** Any source code, JSON schemas, cURL commands, .env files, SQL queries, system prompts, chat logs, or text snippets you input into the tools.
* **Usage Analytics:** We do not track which tools you use, how long you use them, or your click patterns (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or telemetry scripts are included).
---
## 3. Chrome Extension Permissions
Nova Suite requires **no special browser permissions** to function.
* **Zero Permissions Requested:** The Extension does not request access to `"storage"`, `"tabs"`, `"activeTab"`, or any host permissions in its `manifest.json`.
* **Local State Storage:** Your UI preferences (such as Light/Dark theme configuration, sidebar state, and last-used tools) are stored locally on your device using the standard web `localStorage` API, which does not require browser permission.
* **Tab Launching:** Launching the Extension in a new tab is handled natively by the browser without reading any of your browsing history or open tabs.
---
## 4. Detailed Breakdown of Local Tools
All 32 utilities inside Nova Suite operate under the strict boundaries of this offline policy:
### AI & LLM Tools (12 Utilities)
* **Token Calculator:** Computes token lengths and costs locally using local Tiktoken library rules.
* **Context Budget, Prompt Diff, Model Matrix, RAG Chunk Splitter:** Visual metrics calculated purely client-side.
* **Schema Validator, Mock Generator, Few-Shot Formatter, Log Converter, Agent Validator, Prompt XML Validator (XmlTagChecker), Prompt Injection Tester:** All validation, auto-fixing, templates mapping, and simulated jailbreak testing run 100% in local memory.
### Core Tools (20 Utilities)
* **JSON Formatter, Base64 Converter, URL Encoder/Decoder, JWT Debugger, UUID/ULID Generator, Date & Epoch Converter, Text Diff Checker, HTML Entity Converter, Cryptographic Hasher, CSS Unit Converter, Color Picker & Palette, Regex Tester, Markdown Previewer, User Agent Parser, SQL Formatter, JSON to DTO Generator, cURL to Code, String Transformer, Cron Expression Builder, ENV File Parser:** All text transformations, code generation, styling previews, regex compilation, and cryptographic hashes are executed strictly in the local tab's execution context.
---
## 5. Third-Party Services & CDNs
Nova Suite contains **no external dependencies loaded at runtime**. All icons (Lucide), styles, and scripts are bundled locally inside the Extension package. No fonts, scripts, or assets are requested from external Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) or third-party servers.
---
## 6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our local tools or manifest updates. Any updates will be reflected in the Extension's manifest version update on the Chrome Web Store.
---
## 7. Contact Us
Since we do not collect any user data, we have no automated ways to contact you. If you have any questions or feedback regarding this Privacy Policy, please open an issue in the official source code repository.
