Type Once Flow is designed with a strict local-first architecture.
No External Servers: We do not own, operate, or maintain any database servers or external API services.
Local Storage: All of your templates, custom snippets, block configurations, and application settings are stored strictly on your local device using Google Chrome's secure storage API (chrome.storage.local).
No Data Transmission: None of your entered data, text shortcuts, expanded templates, or configuration values are ever collected, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party. Your data never leaves your computer.
2. Explanation of Permissions Used
To function correctly, the Extension requests minimal and specific permissions from your browser. Here is why each permission is required:
storage: Required to save your custom templates and configuration locally in your browser.
clipboardRead: Used strictly when you trigger a template containing the [CLIPBOARD_TEXT] variable. This permission allows the extension to retrieve the current text in your clipboard and insert it into your active template. This operation happens entirely on your machine; clipboard contents are never saved or sent anywhere.
sidePanel: Required to display the Extension's interface (template manager, editor, and settings) within Chrome's side panel layout.
Host Permissions (<all_urls>): Required to allow the Extension's content expansion script to listen to keyboard triggers (e.g. typing /iban) in your active tabs and inject the corresponding templates into the target text fields.
3. Third-Party Analytics and Tracking
We do not use any analytics tools, tracking pixels, cookies, or third-party software development kits (SDKs) inside the Extension. Your usage habits, typing statistics, and interaction patterns remain entirely private to you.

4. Children's Privacy
Because we do not collect any personal information, the Extension is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect any personal data from anyone.
